In 1986, “Cappi”, as he was fondly called, established Hoslyn Ventures Nigeria Ltd to engage in engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contracts in Nigeria. The company was also one of the first indigenous companies to contract with the major refineries in Nigeria, and also the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC).
He founded Ocean Marine Security Limited to provide world-class security solutions for offshore production facilities for the major oil companies operating in the country and also for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Ocean Marine Security Limited recently completed the construction of the 29-mile Escravos–Warri Crude Pipeline, which was launched by the then Minister of State for Petroleum, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu.
Captain Hosa also founded Ocean Marine Solutions Tankers Ltd, which operates Nigeria's first indigenous marine tankers and has played an important support role in the level of oil production and distribution in Nigeria.
